Worked closely with psychologists during consultations, gaining hands-on experience in patient interactions and helped taking the case history and MMSE(mini mental status examination). Conducted follow-up consultations with out-patients to track their progress and discuss with it with the psychiatrists, and also learned the essentials of recording patient case histories. I had the opportunity to engage in observations, rounds and talking with in-patients for a comprehensive understanding of their needs. Observing ECT, Ketamine , Abreaction therapy and administering RTMS were first-of-their kind experiences. I also helped in administering and interpreting various assessments. Show less
