Aug 2018 - Sep 2019
I was involved with opening the house to the public, guided tours, school visits and events, social media, some financial work and general office administration. Lead Halls Connector
-
Sep 2015 - Jun 2017
In Halls of Residence at Kingston University I lead a small team. Our purpose was to help students who are new to halls to settle in, deal with any issues they may have in halls, and to organise and run events for them throughout the year. My role covered these tasks, as well as handling time-sheets, acting as a go between for our manager and the rest of the team, and making sure the team functions well and achieves its goals.

Student Ambassador
-
Oct 2014 - Jun 2017
As a Student Ambassador my job was varied. I worked at open days, where I helped prospective students to get a feel for the university and what it is like to be a student. I have worked at short summer schools, where I helped to give the attendees a taste of university life which involved giving presentations, tours, and advice. I have also worked at ‘discovery days’, running activities with primary and secondary school students.

Temporary Office Assistant

Jun 2014 - Aug 2015
At The Fountain Workshop I am responsible for the checking and filing of delivery notes and invoices, matching both to purchase orders. I answer the phone, direct calls, and accept deliveries. My time at The Fountain Workshop has given me much more experience with the administrative side of business enabling me to work both with the customers and behind the scenes. Waitress
-
Nov 2013 - May 2014
This experience has given me the confidence and knowledge to deal with all types of customers, and any needs they may have. As a waitress I was responsible for waiting on up to 30 diners per shift, whereby I took their food and drink orders, delivered the food, filled the drinks orders, made the desserts, created the bill and took payment, and finally cleaned and reset the tables after the customers.
