I was able to conduct Mexicos First City Wide Siren System (Sistema de Alerta Temprana), obtaining funds from both the City of Cd. Acuña & Alcoa Foundation. During this time I was able to fund training for the Department Personnel and myself, and certify my team with: Firefighter 1 & 2, SwiftWater Rescue, Hazmat Technician, Search and Rescue, Emergency First Responder and many more. I also obtained through fund raisers complete personal protection equipment, firetrucks, rescue boats, extrication equipment and more. I was able to obtain the nomination for the Best City Project for Emergency Management in Cd. Acuña, ( Nominacion a Premio Nacional de Proteccion Civil ). I have also received the Directors Award from the Texas Department of Public Safety, for extricating 3 People from burning cars in a head on collision. Show less
