The world is now running out of energy-producing resources. And humanity should prepare in advance for future energy starvation. Because the world is one hundred percent dependent on energy. To give up half of it would mean the death of civilization. And we have found a new eco-friendly energy source that does not pollute nature. However, this source that can give us infinite energy still remains unused. And this source is a pedestrian stream. There are up to 50,000 steps per day to any point on one of the busy streets. In our project, we plan to use pedestrian traffic to usefully convert steps into energy. Our tile generates electricity from the kinetic energy of walking people. Our device will be made of a flexible waterproof material that will bend about 5 millimeters when pressed, and this in turn creates energy that the mechanism converts into electricity. The accumulated watts are either stored in a lithium-ion battery, or go directly to lighting streets, bus stops, shop windows, and signage. The problem that our project addresses: 1. Most energy sources pollute nature (for example, burning fossil fuels such as coal, oil, and natural gas is the main cause of anthropogenic CO2 emissions). 2.Depletion of energy resources. 3. Imitation of electricity prices. The population pays 1,237 tg (national value) g per 100 kWh – 10.1% more than a year ago. 5.Lack of electricity in remote areas. 6. Energy transfer over long distances is a fairly complex problem. Approximately 20% of the generated energy is lost during transmissions. The paving slabs themselves will be environmentally friendly: the body will be made of stainless steel, and the upper part will be made of recycled tires and rubbers. Our smart paving tiles will be installed in crowded places such as the exit in the metro, access to shopping and entertainment centers, crowded streets, etc. Show less
