During the above mentioned period I was responsible to supervise Segment production, Rebar check, Duct position check, Stressing works, Parapet Production, Erection of segment, Geometry control etc. a 5.056 km (128m viaduct+50+100x47+50+128m viaduct) long & 18.5m width multipurpose bridge with dual gauge railway tracks, power transmission line and high pressure gas transmission pipe line was consisted of 4 contracts and implemented under FIDIC conditions. JMBP, the single biggest project in Bangladesh by over 900 million US dollars, was supervised by multidisciplinary professional and nationals. The project was funded by WB, ADB, OECF (Overseas Economic Cooperation Fund) and GOB (Government of Bangladesh). The main bridge was constructed by a Korean contractor, Hyundai Engineering and Construction JV by post-tensioned segmental balanced cantilever technique. I inspected the pre-cast segment production including tendon profile & other embedded items, pre and post pour geometry, stressing & grouting of transverse tendons of the pre-cast segments for the main bridge (Contract No. 1).
