Developed a state of the art technique for muscle fatigue detection with an unsupervised machine learning algorithm. Achieved inter-patient classification of a subjects muscle states employing Neural Networks, refuting a well stablished theory among the scientific community. Developed high performance forecasting machine learning algorithm of surface electromyography features. Created from scratch an optical device intended for cancer detection. Was able to detect nanoscale differences between tissues to sort them out. This served as a proof of concept of the device’s ability to differentiate between cancerous and healthy tissue. Acquired multiple interdisciplinary skills ranging from optical and electrical engineering to advanced programming in different languages, as well as project managing and communication skills. Redesigned, simplified and upgraded preexisting hardware while creating software for an audiometry device. Successfully maximised the device’s efficiency to detect extremely small signals of the cochlea building a highly efficient filter bank.
