I had the great privilege to study with Ishan at UNSW. I quickly came to appreciate and admire his passion about the issues facing our world, and his dedication to strengthening his understanding about how the levers of public policy can be used to shape it for the better. I believe any not-for-profit or public policy organisation would benefit immensely from having Ishan as part of its team.

Ishan and I studied together the master’s of development studies at UNSW last year. We shared a few group projects. I cannot emphasize enough Ishan’s dedication, professionalism and work, both in and out of the classroom to complete those projects. His inputs during participation time in class was always valuable and insightful. He enjoyed sharing his past academic or professional experience from his home country, which made debates even more engaging. He is also curious, loves to continuously learn, and asked pertinent questions while remaining open-minded to others’ insights in class.
