I've worked with Isela for 18 months as her manager at IBM while she ran demand generation activities supporting the Retail industry. Within that role, Isela ran multiple successful digital campaigns as well as managed IBM's presence at the huge NRF retail event in 2016 and 2017, one of the largest events that IBM participates in all year, in any industry. Isela combines the rare ability to think strategically while managing huge projects flawlessly, managing multiple agencies, working across a complex and matrixed organization to present a unified experience for the customer. As well, even though Isela is driven to achieve outstanding outcomes, she never does this at the expense of a relationship and her sunny personality and optimistic nature make her someone that everyone wants to work with. I hope I get the opportunity to work with Isela again in the future; I have managed more than 100 people in my career and Isela is truly a stand-out.
