  Through SEPA, I worked as a grant-writing intern for the Divine Equine Therapeutic Riding Center in Sherman. I created an interactive case statement for the organization, which included financial information, logic models, information about the audience served and the various programs they offer, their history, demographic data, a solicitation calendar, and grant shells. I also helped around the barn with therapy for kids with Down's Syndrome and Autism, and with lessons for kids who were on probation. I also helped with the execution of the Divine Equine Casino Night fundraising event at the end of the summer. Lastly, I reached out to various organizations and corporations around the Texoma area to find sponsors for the Divine Equine Golf Fundraiser that took place during the year. Show less
