  I researched the viability of herd immunity against COVID-19, under the guidance of my supervisor, Dr. Srinivasan. A literature review of peer-reviewed infectious disease journals was conducted to understand how similar coronaviruses (such as SARS and MERS) were managed. The information was used for a presentation that related this knowledge back to COVID-19 at the time. My virtual presentation for ImmunoScape staff focused on utilising a combination of measures, such as vaccination and chimeric antigen receptor T cell therapy, in tandem with public health policies, to develop herd immunity against COVID-19 in a population.
