Bio
William Lux
Isaiah served with me in Afghanistan in 2006 and 2007. Not only was he one of the most naturally gifted Human Intelligence collectors, he also demonstrated leadership and maturity far beyond his peers. I often counted on Isaiah to act with little guidance and limited supervision in a hostile, combat environment. As his senior supervisor I was particularly impressed with Isaiah’s ability to build teams across multiple Army and Inter-Agency organizations. Using his liaison skills, Isaiah earned the trust and respect of two of the most difficult commanders I have ever served with; despite the fact that he was one of the most junior members of the team. Because of his individual drive and initiative, Isaiah always exceed the standards on both the timeliness and quality of his products. He is a planner, capable of identifying complex contingencies and developing solutions in advance. As an intelligence collector he went beyond answering the overt questions and reported actionable information that the supported units had not even identified yet. His reporting was meticulous, accurate, and timely. Although he was junior, he also had some of the best management skills I have ever seen in a subordinate. On a daily basis, he planned and executed missions with ad hoc teams. He developed and presented information that successfully allowed his team to operate in hostile territory more than 300 days with everyone coming back alive. He also managed a complex, dynamic budget with perfect accountability. I have fought to have Isaiah Creel come back to work with me and will continue to do so. Any team that is able to recruit him will have gained a powerful asset. CW5 Bill Lux
