I am the second shift supervisor for a full-service letter shop. We assemble and image all types of direct mail packages. A unique synergy exists in our company, since we often design, print and finish most components of the packages. Short turn-around and a wide variety of specialty features keep things interesting. There is technical expertise required, as we constantly configure our equipment for new projects. High speed cameras use optical character recognition and various bar-code scans for tasks like matched mailing and automated sorting.

I managed enterprise projects consisting of hardware and software configuration and imaging of servers, PC's and network devices. I was responsible for designing processes to efficiently complete projects with documented QC verification. I supervised a team of technicians who performed the work in the shop, and often traveled nationally to assist in the physical installations.
