  Meeting with students at the NWCC campus to work with them on their writing ability and comprehension of their classwork. Aiding in writing essays, the formats that they need to be written in, and helping with assignments that challenge them.

  I currently work as a peer mentor at Northwestern Community College. The peer2peer program helps first year students navigate obstacles within the process of college. I meet with mentees and help them with their goals and the struggles that a first year student endures. I use this opportunity to help students who go through the same things I went through such as being unsure of the future, figuring out what professions might interest them, and doing my best to ease their concerns, as they are natural concerns everyone has.
