  Employed as part of an extensive strategic growth plan of the company to lead crucial internal product developments helping to launch D3O onto the military and tactical market, as well as expanding their current sport product ranges. I am leading project development directly with customers to secure new opportunities but also to reinforce the commercial relationship with current ones. I regularly visit cutomers at trade shows and in their offices to encourage new product developments. As a senior designer I manage all design projects from brief to production in Asian factory; produce prototypes using in-house facilities (chemi wood tool cutting in CNC, PU casting, cold pressing EVA, vaccum forming plastic sheets...); manage a team of 3 designers, manage in-house sales team expectations as well as customers needs; produce timelines and FMEAs, arrange product testing in-house and with external laboratories to meet various EN standards, organise wear trials and user feedback.
