Isabelle gave a presentation titled "The Impact of Confucianism on Korean Culture" to the foreign faculty at Sungshin Women's University in November 2011 and I was very impressed with her professionalism. Her presentation was informative and thought-provoking and her manner was warm and welcoming. I personally got a lot out of it and many of the other teachers mentioned to me that they did as well. It's always a breath of fresh air to have someone help foreigners understand Koreans and Korean culture in an open, non-judgmental way. Thank you Isabelle and I hope our paths cross sometime again in the future.
