Collaborated with a team of researchers to gain a deep understanding of the foundational concepts of Space-Time wave packets, and leverage this knowledge to inform data collection efforts. Throughout this project, I focused on expanding my knowledge of key concepts such as diffraction, dispersion, and polarization, with a goal of developing a more nuanced and comprehensive understanding of these complex phenomena. My work with this team has enabled me to apply this knowledge to real-world… Show more Collaborated with a team of researchers to gain a deep understanding of the foundational concepts of Space-Time wave packets, and leverage this knowledge to inform data collection efforts. During my time at MKS Irvine, I collaborated closely with on-site engineers to explore the intricacies of thin film quality control, deposition processes, and data analysis. I gained a deep understanding of the science behind various deposition methods, the functioning of different chambers, and how to properly analyze process data acquired during a run. I also had the opportunity to conduct analyses on light transmission, reflectance, and the complex refractive index of deposited films.… Show more During my time at MKS Irvine, I collaborated closely with on-site engineers to explore the intricacies of thin film quality control, deposition processes, and data analysis. Collaborated with my research lead to create an innovative app using Kotlin and MIT App Inventor that enables real-time updates to the color-changing Chromorphous Fabric. Through a process of close collaboration and iterative development, we designed an intuitive user interface and implemented advanced functionality that enables users to control the fabric's color and pattern with ease.
