Isabella was my student during her last semester as an undergraduate at FIU. She was in my capstone class, and her drive, talent and work ethic was undeniable. She served as as Executive Producer for our first newscast. This is arguably the hardest position in the class, as she was responsible for the workflow of all of her fellow students. During the second newscast, she was selected as one of the News Anchors. Her on-camera presence is outstanding. I later "talked" her into going to grad school, and she took my advice. I highly recommend Isabella.

It is with great honor that I recommend Isabella Ojeda. I have worked with Isabella for over 3 years professionally as her advisor to the Student Programming Council (SPC) where she held the positions of Vice President of Outreach and President and served as a mentor during her time as Student Government Vice President. She is one of those student leaders that every advisor dreams to work with! I now have the honor of being her mentor and friend. Isabella moved her way up in SPC quickly. In 2017-2018, she was selected as the Social Media Coordinator for SPC. When the VP of Outreach position opened up mid-fall semester we knew she would be the best person for the job. Her creativity and leadership took our marketing to the next level that year which in turn lead her to become the 2018-2019 President. Her ability to connect with students and her passion for SPC has made this year one of the most successful for SPC. She has challenged her peers to step outside of their comfort zone and do things that they never thought possible. Not only was Isabella active in her direct responsibilities for SPC but she was also very active in the SGA Cabinet as the SPC representative. She understood the importance of collaboration and supporting other organizations to make sure all programming at FIU were successful. She sat on numerous committees from the Bowl Celebration, the Homecoming Uncaging Event, to supporting HLP’s Zen Fest and so many more. This mindset has lead SPC to having the most co-sponsorships in history and we are still going! With all of her successes in her roles with SPC it was time to take her leadership abilities to the next level. She was elected as the Student Government Vice President for the 2019-2020 academic year! She represented FIU at the state level through legislation trips and participation in the Florida Student Association. On a personal side, Isabella is an outgoing social butterfly that will do anything for those she loves! She has the energy about her that gets everyone around her exciting to be alive. She always sees the bright side of things and will do whatever it takes to pick those up around her to keep moving. She has the work hard play hard mentality and truly enjoys whatever she is involved in. Isabella never lets her involvements conflict with her work in the classroom. She always puts her academics first and excels in the classroom. She also tries to find ways in which her classroom can connect to her experiences from her previous involvements on campus. She has done projects to educate those in her classes about the resources we offer and uses some marketing techniques from the classroom to take SPC to the next level. Isabella's love and passion for social media and the connection it can make for other people is very evident. She thrives on always keeping up with the trends and ensuring the company or group she is working with is known! She has a way of thinking outside of the typical social media and digital
