When I worked at Faithful+Gould on the Singapore 2018 formula 1, I had exposure to a fast-tracking, high-profile project from built to tear down within four months. Within days of the opening, I redesigned the public lighting system installation route on the same day, on site, allowing ongoing civil and electrical work to be completed. • Reported weekly quality control progress with as-built photos and drawings of Contracts worth US$3.7M for Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix 2018 • Realized savings of 10% on contractor's compensation by comparing quotes and applying key performance indicators during the project delivery • Developed market and feasibility study based on the company's requirements for land acquisition Show less

      • May 2018 - Sep 2018

In the summer of 2018, my team received support from Undergraduate Research and Fellowship Office to conduct independent study on the cost-effective water conservation methods. Our focus is to apply a method that can be applied in the arid climate conditions of Cape Town, and assess the repeatability of Australian water technologies in South Africa by engaging with organizations and entrepreneurs in both countries. The result of the Summer Scholars Independent Research Fellowship (SSIRF) was a recommendation to alleviate the water crisis in Cape Town and a 3D-printed prototype of the monolayer delivery system to ensure the control of evaporation rate. The findings and the prototype were presented by the members of the team at the SSIRF Symposium in September 2018 and at the Pacific Water Conference in February 2019, receiving positive feedback from the water technology experts. While the initial prototype was successful as a proof of concept of the delivery system, we implemented a setup to produce the honeycomb system from different materials and estimating the performance, durability, repeatability and cost-effectiveness of each production method. •Received a $15k grant to pursue a research titled “Applications of Reverse Engineering Methodologies Based on Australian Advancements to Address the Acute Water Scarcity in Cape Town” •Analyzed a low-income economy's receptibility to water management strategies of Cape Town, South Africa •Conducted a cost-benefit analysis of a novel 3D-printed evaporation suppressing prototype to assess the scale-up feasibility in a two-kilometer squared area Show less
