During the internship in the embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany in London I gained insights in both the bilateral relations between Germany and United Kingdom, as well as the German foreign service and the diplomatic relations Britain maintains with Europe. My occupation during the final spurt of the Brexit-campaigns was understanding, analysing and evaluating the different "leave"-campaigns. Moreover I attended meetings in the Houses of Parliament besides lectures, receptions and briefings in the embassy.
