      - I was successful in this placement which lasted a fortnight. I spent time in both the Corporate and Catastrophic Personal Injury services. In the latter, I assisted the team when acting for the firms’ insurer client, RSA, by producing summaries of expert evidence reports and filing.- Outside of the practice groups, I was required to prepare a client pitch with students and pitch to a panel of senior figures. I also attended social events, such as a partner dinner, with other trainees. - I was successful in this placement which lasted a fortnight. - Over a three-day period, I shadowed a criminal practitioner, Stella Hayden, from Exchange Chambers in Liverpool Crown Court. I clerked for Stella throughout a drugs trial and sentencing hearing which involved a large-scale operation. - I participated in client conferences and discussed possible lines of questioning. I was also able to witness an array of court proceedings, such as cross-examinations. - Over a three-day period, I shadowed a criminal practitioner, Stella Hayden, from Exchange Chambers in Liverpool Crown Court.
