Moving to Orlando 3 years ago, I knew I had found my second home. I was honored to have the opportunity to represent the City Beautiful at the Miss Florida for America pageant held at the Westgate Lakes Resort in Orlando, FL. As Miss Orlando, I had the opportunity to travel the city advocating for my platform, Life Outside of Him: A Survival Story, in which I share my story as a survivor of domestic violence at the age of 19 and teach our youth the importance of knowing the warning signs of abuse, and how to lead a healthy and happy relationship with yourself and others. I was lucky to walk away from the Miss Florida competition as first runner up to the state title, community service award winner, and with new life skills. Show less

I love the opportunity to help beautiful brides find the dress they will wear down the aisle by managing our email marketing campaigns on Flodesk and telemarketing. This was my first internship ever, and probably one of the coolest opportunities! Being a Real Talk Ambassador for Advanced Recovery Systems here in Orlando was on of the most eye opening and rewarding experiences in my life. Having the opportunity to go through the training and learning about how the opioid epidemic is affecting our youth in United States was something I will never forget. Having the opportunity to travel with Miss Florida and Advanced Recovery systems to have a #RealTalk about substance abuse with our youth, filming a commercial for the program, and doing a photo shoot with the other ambassadors are all experiences I will hold close to my heart. I had the opportunity to represent the city of Lakeland as the first Miss Lakeland crowned in 8 years. I was awarded a scholarship and had the chance to be a local ambassador for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals for a year. I was able to participate in many community and philanthropic event and represent Lakeland at the Miss Florida pageant held at the RP Funding Center in Lakeland, Florida.
