I had the pleasure of working alongside Isaac at BitGo. Together, we managed the Blockchain Engineering Team (Isaac as Product Manager, myself as Engineering Manager). I've had the opportunity to work with a number of Product Managers over my 15 year career and can say with full conviction that Isaac is one of the most talented, engaging, and intelligent PMs of lot. His unique blend of IQ + EQ is rarely found in the technology space and his thoughtful, intentional approach to management will make him an asset to whichever team he decides to lead next. Isaac is a multiplier; he was one of the best partners I have ever collaborated with.

Isaac is the product manager to go to when you need a great balance of PM and delivery on the ground. He has a great relationship with engineering and is loved by the team. He is very well rounded; he helped implement scrum organization-wide and represented the company well when talking to the press. I appreciated how Isaac was willing to get hands-on when needed and made the right trade-offs when engaging with both internal and external stakeholders.

      • Jan 2019 - Jan 2021

Led rebranding of two companies, Nexmo and TokBox, that were acquired by Vonage to the Vonage Communications APIs, which was a multi-quarter effort to completely overhaul their nomenclature and visual identity across all customer touchpoints (marketing, dashboards, documentation, tools, support, financial invoices, transactional emails, GitHub orgs and repos, blogs, social channels, etc.). Defined and received approval from Vonage C-levels to begin execution of the multi-year domain strategy, which will standardize customer interactions and APIs across all BUs and allow Vonage to present itself as an API-first company moving forward. Joined as the product manager responsible for developer experience of the Vonage Video API (formerly TokBox), a WebRTC-based video platform, which includes the account dashboard, developer tools (like pre-call test, session inspector, and a sandbox), and open source repositories to expedite customer integration efforts. Launched the open source Vonage Free Conferencing, based on the Vonage Video API, at the start of the COVID-19 crisis in March 2020 to help connect friends, family, and teammates for free. Won the Vonage Key Contributor Award, awarded to the top 10% of staff, in my first year. Show less
