• Developed RF simulation software written using CUDA/Optix-7 to provide real-time SAR simulation with 100x speedup over previous solutions. • Designer and developer of Rosetta, an inhouse package made to seamlessly integrate programs without suitable APIs into trade study and optimization frameworks. • Primary engineer developing optimization tool that utilizes multi-objective evolutionary algorithms with surrogate assistance techniques. Tool integrates directly with aerodynamic, thermal and GNC simulations to optimize missile airframes and control laws. Developed frontend dashboard to monitor optimizations running across multiple machines, as well as database to store results. • Developed hypersonic optics tool coupling thermal and boundary layer solver with advanced scene generation and signature modeling tool to model a realistic seeker-target scenario to be used by Air Force HWIL systems. • Lead engineer tasked with integrating in house computational biology software with Unity3D, including a new GUI, mesh animation, and augmented reality support with the HoloLens 2. • Designed and developed several GUIs and CLIs for hypersonic and biomedical applications that are in use by customers and coworkers. • Contributing developer to Hypersonic Environment Analysis Tool (HEAT). • Play an integral role in an internal software group that aims to bring software best practices to scientists and engineers by advising on proposals, giving presentations on useful technologies, and rolling out and supporting services like GitLab, AWS, and Docker. Developed VBA program to assist with compiling numerous (300+ slide) presentations to provide a consistent reference for part non-conformances for Pratt and Whitney • Code originally developed for personal use to assist with various repetitive tasks, but eventually turned into a generalized program with a user interface and save features for other engineers to use to massively cut down on the time required to implement this new program. • Program was delivered to P&W and included as a cost savings for PSI. Helped design retaining rings • Modeled using several variants using UG/NX • Design analysis using decision matrices Created new and edited existing drawings for various turbine parts Show less
