  New construction of a 36 inch natural gas transmission line that connected the Walker's Branch compressor station in WV to the the Leach Xpress Pipeline (LXP) where it meets the Buckeye Xpress Pipeline (BXP) in Ohio which included a 6400ft bore underneath the Ohio River.I worked on multiple crews on the project.The first was responsible for building the bore pads and leveling enough work space for the pull back sections, which included taking down 3 hills, filling 2 small valleys, building access roads, a parking area and installing a 16x14ft ID concrete box culvert under a county road for the pull back sections to pass through 3 wide while being building built and tested prior to being pulled under the Ohio River.I was also the bending engineer on the job responsible for working with the project engineer to mechanically make bends in the pipe with a CRC Evans bending machine as well as assisting with hydrostatic testing of the pullback sections for the bore.My other duties included maintaining and repairing the county road on the jobsite under the supervision of WVDOT and operating and maintaining excavators (CAT 329, 336E and 349F), dozers (CAT D8 and D6), Backhoe (Cat 420F), a Marooka and skid steer (Cat 299D) as needed.We were also responsible for building access roads, cutting right of way, slip repair, stringing pipe, digging ditch, backfilling and clean up/restoration.
