Encourage, mentor and track 20 students that have been identified as needing academic, behavioral, and attendance support at Minneapolis North High School. Lead 30 students through goal setting activities and class discussions in the B.L.A.C.K class at North High School. Perform administrative duties for the Office of Black Male Student Achievement. Tasks included organizing extended learning opportunities for students, evaluating and improving professional development trainings, curriculum development and advising strategic planning for the office.

Analyzed survey data collected from professional development trainings for school staff and Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) end of the year surveys. Prepared results using Stata. Presented data analysis on professional development trainings to the Directors of the Office of Black Male Student Achievement and the administrative team at Minneapolis South High School. Presented data analysis on end of the year surveys to the directors of ECSE.Participated in the Youth Participatory Evaluation program as a guest facilitator. Introduced research concepts to a group of 8 students on a bi-weekly basis. Developed a website to provide information about the YPE program, communicate curriculum instruction to program advisors and feature student projects. Engaged in facilitation workshops for 8 hours a week for 12 weeks. Developed and presented lessons to a cohort of 30 interns on giving and receiving feedback, intergenerational communication and leadership styles.

Facilitated the Minneapolis Workplace Advisory Committee (MWAC) meetings for the Mayor of the City of Minneapolis. MWAC is composed of 16 members who advise Minneapolis’ City Council on workplace related policies and initiatives.Executed City Council's mandate to inform all employees in the city of Minneapolis of their new rights pursuant to the city of Minneapolis' minimum labor standards ordinances.Administered surveys and organized research team meetings for a study conducted by the Minnesota State Advisory Committee to the US Commission on Civil Rights. The study highlighted civil rights concerns associated with policing practices in the State of Minnesota.
