When I began the Role as Senior Test Analyst at Scania my remit was to implement a formal QA function to support the development team and projects. In order to deliver this it was necessary to establish an entire foundation of repeatable processes to support the ongoing quality improvement for the organisation. To deliver this I produced all the necessary documentation (including a Business Test Strategy) and process documents which I presented to the team and external parties to set expectations around the new quality measures. I supported the team in understanding and following the new process which was successful. During my time as a Software Tester at Domino’s Pizza UK my main responsibility was to look after Domino’s £multi-million e-Commerce platform. I was working in different teams, supporting various areas of the platform such as the front-end (the e-Commerce website), the back-end and services, as well as the CMS used by franchisees. My exposure to some cutting-edge technology used at Domino’s at the time has greatly increased my technical skills and expertise in this field. I worked on high-profile projects such as GPS Tracking and was involved in implementation of the new Payment system for Domino's e-Commerce platform. I was responsible for testing various Payment Gateways (such as Datacash and Cybersource), payment providers (such as Visa, Mastercard and AMEX) and channels ( incl. credit card, PayPal, Apple Pay and Visa Checkout). Both of these projects were successfully delivered into production. One of the most exciting projects I worked on during my tenure at Domino's was its monolith-to-micro-services digital transformation project, where I was first exposed to test automation with Selenium and SpecFlow and learned about Docker and Kubernetes.
