SION is a 21st century solution solving a 20th century problem: how travel agents manage their commission payments. SION makes it easier and faster for travel agents to manage, track, and collect their commission payments through one intuitively simple online dashboard. After running my own travel agency and dealing with these frustrations daily, I believed there was a way to fix it, and my vision for SION was born. At SION, I: - Created the company vision - Oversaw the specification, development, and architecting of the software - Recruited lead executives - Bootstrapped the initial product build-out - Ran use-test and QA testing - Led investor pitching and fundraising efforts - Leveraged industry connections to obtain a pool of Alpha users Show less

IBC Private is a membership-based luxury travel agency and personal concierge service. We build deep and lasting relationships with our clients, who rely on us to book everything from their unique vacations to the perfect spots for their routine corporate travel. Our clients tell us all the time that we spoil them for everything else. When I started IBC Private, I had no travel industry experience. I had a vision and I knew how to hustle. I figured I could just learn everything else. I knew I wanted my company to be a different kind of travel agency, so I conceived of a membership-based business model. I wanted everything about this business to be about service and relationships – of course this meant with clients, but it also was important that I apply the same set of values with my employees and my vendors. Not wanting to rely on my instincts alone, I read a lot of books, sought out great mentors, did a lot of research, and tested my theories. That is what I still do today, and what I’ve learned and succeeded at has made it possible for me to now juggle two companies simultaneously. Show less
