Irit is a dedicated and motivated leader. I had several opportunities to work closely with her since the time she assumed position and saw how she managed to react and grow through the various challenges this position has put to her. Hoshen is by far the biggest and most diverse LGBT organization in Israel, in terms of number of volunteers and in field activities. Irit has managed to build an effective team of volunteers, and led the organization to grow two fold, while managing the diverse passions and expectations of the volunteers. I am volunteering in Hoshen since 2006, and I have led Havruta become a leading NGO in the religious LGBT community in 2010. I have grown to appreciate Irit's leadership of Hoshen both has a Hoshen volunteer and through my perspective in Havruta
