Iris de Jong was employed by Kluwer Law International B.V. from 2007 through 2015. Iris started as Trade Sales assistant in the sales department. In this role she was the first point of contact for our international trade sales customers. She also worked directly with our distribution center on solving issues related to orders. Iris also developed her creative side by creating promotion materials, such as brochures and sell sheets. In 2011 Iris was promoted to Marketing Associate in the marketing department. In this role she was responsible for planning, managing and executing market development plans for the indirect sales channels. Iris had the ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing with international customers. She showed great teamwork skills by working closely with the sales department and her US colleagues. In 2014 Iris’ role completely focused on managing different marketing channels, such as Direct Mail, Email Marketing, Online advertising and events. She managed these channels successfully for the practice areas: Labour Law, EU Law, Transportation Law and Comparative law. In this role she created promotional materials, advertisements and sent out direct mail and email campaigns according to schedule. This included analyzing campaign results on a monthly basis. Iris supported our Social Media strategy wand was responsible for developing and analyzing our Annual Social Media Survey. The insights she gathered formed the foundation for our Social Media strategy. In recent years, Iris also executed online advertising campaigns to generate leads for our sales department. Many of these leads were qualified and passed on to Sales for closing. Iris is smart and has good analytical and communication skills. In her roles she learned how to work in an international and cross-departmental environment. I found Iris very efficient and always willing to help anyone. I recommend her to any future employers.
