I had the great pleasure of working at Nielsen with Iris for more than 12 years, both as her peer and as her indirect leader in a matrixed organization. Iris is extremely talented in both leadership and execution/functional skills, which is a rare combination. Some highlights of her strengths include: People Leadership: Iris has a natural gift of creating strong bonds of trust with her team, and is a phenomenal coach and mentor. She supports people's growth by highlighting and developing their unique strengths, and gives them clear, direct feedback on opportunities for improvement in a way that is supportive and actionable. She is a strong advocate for the talent on her team, seeking to understand their unique career goals, build their confidence, and empower them to forge a path to meet those goals. She developed high-performing talent on her team that went on to leadership positions both within Nielsen and at other companies, and was always working to grow the next generation of leaders. Project Management: Iris has extremely strong project management skills. She has worked with some of the largest consumer packaged goods companies in the world to field successful projects that ultimately helped grow their innovation pipelines. She also applied this project management skill set to a variety of projects that benefited the global project management team, including process improvement initiatives, capturing and monitoring quality metrics that drove double-digit improvements, and a complete redesign of the workflow and roles on the team. She has a unique gift of capturing a multitude of details in a way that seems effortless, and presenting them in a way that's easy for everyone else to understand. Problem Solving: Iris is committed to finding solutions that are actionable, thorough, and provide benefit to as many as possible. She is one of the calmest people I have ever known in a career crisis situation - she has a quiet confidence and can-do attitude that keep people focused on getting things done. People at all levels - employees, peers, and leaders - turn to her for advice and insights when situations get tough. When you go to Iris with a problem, you walk away feeling there is a way to fix it. I relied heavily on Iris's wisdom, insights, and talent during our time working together...and learned so much from her example. Any company would be incredibly lucky to have her on their team.

I miss a lot working with Iris, both as my manager as well as my peer. She always demonstrated to be an outstanding manager, with strong focus on people, their motivation and their career developments. Her fairness and dedication to teams have been a great source of learning for me for all the time I’ve been working with Iris. I was always very impressed to see Iris’s ability to handle even the most difficult people situations, every time very, very professionally. Iris’s knowledge of Market Research industry, Project Management in particular, is vast and thorough. Thanks to this she has become a firm point of reference for many other leaders in the organization, across several departments. Iris is also a natural Project Manager, being very thorough and deadline-oriented on any task she manages. She constantly demonstrates to be on top of projects, even the most complex ones. She has successfully managed and completed several assignments for the Project Development department, even under very tight deadline pressures. Iris is an experienced problem solver; she is able to think forward, is very solution-oriented, and she faces issues with a broad mind and a mature attitude. I always admired how Iris can remain very calm and professional even under critical circumstances. Last, but not least, Iris has a very strong work ethic, which make her a reliable and inspiring asset for any company.
