  I was the member of a 3 member, independent Ultimus BPM Suite Architecture Team. This team was wholly responsible for development of detail design and development architecture for the Ultimus product. • Software Engineer

  As a Software Engineer, I was involved in engineering the full Life Cycle of the Ultimus Organization Chart (Server and Client). Its Implementation was done using VC++, ATL/COM+, ODBC, LDAP, ADSI and ISAPI. I wrote the technical specifications and was also responsible for the implementation of the ActiveX Control. The Server side included the COM Services required for Ultimus BPM Server for getting all kinds of User Information using LDAP, ADSI, from Databases using ODBC and custom interface implementations. The Complete Storage of Ultimus Data in Active Directory was done using ADSI interfaces which includes Extending the Active Directory Schema programmatically and then manipulating its objects and attributes. These services were also exposed through an ISAPI layer making it similar to the Windows DNA Architecture. The Client was in the form of an ActiveX Control to show the user hierarchy in a GUI. This client was able to communicate to the server through COM/DCOM, HTTP/ISAPI layer. I also developed the Ultimus BPM Studio record sets functionality which included COM services capable of connecting, querying, and modifying databases (SQL Server and ORACLE) through ODBC. The record sets gave an enhanced accessibility to data from the Ultimus BPM Server. These services were also available through the ISAPI and DCOM layer. The ISAPI services were marshaled.
