I had the privilege of observing Irene as an Academic Coordinator and boss as I was a student and an Accounting Tutor at Kent State University Ashtabula Campus. I highly recommend her for her exceptional interpersonal skills. Irene was an inspiration to myself and students across multiple campuses. She always provided a positive, understanding, and supportive learning environment. Irene would exhaust every effort possible to help students understand the material they were learning. She would work diligently to provide them the support and tools they needed to be successful. She is a great listener and offers feedback when welcomed. Irene was determined to motivate and ensure growth among the student body. Even as an employee, she was always looking to help build my experience and resume. Irene is committed to teamwork and helping others. She enriched and made a positive impact on my learning experience and continues to do so for the current students. She is a great asset to the community.
