  The Center for Civil and Political Rights (CCPR-Centre) is an NGO that strengthens the work of the United Nations Human Rights Committee by collaborating with national NGOs. My tasks include monitoring the work of the Committee, participating in the NGO briefings and public sessions, and organizing and facilitating meetings between human rights defenders and United Nations mechanism, including Special Procedures mandates, UN Treaty Bodies, and diplomats at the Human Rights Council.

  Yazidi Legal Network is an initiative to assist the Yazidi community in its efforts to create a justice-oriented response to the 2014 genocide in Iraq. As a Senior Research Volunteer, I contributed to the design and test of a method to analyze, grade, and classify video sources regarding the Yazidis. Once approved, the method would be used by the rest of the volunteers on a wide basis in the classification of video sources in the YLN General Database. This position allowed me to take part in the development process of an analysis tool of qualitative information on international law matters, such as migration, international criminal justice, and humanitarian law issues.
