  In 2011 I founded Lyra Medical with Dr Gil Levy, a recognized and distinguished urogynecologist who invented the concept of Lyra Medical’s anchorless solution. Lyra’s Self-Retaining Support (SRS) technology mimics the natural anatomy, restoring pelvic organs to their anatomical and functional location, without the complications associated with mesh anchoring. The SRS Implant introduces a flexible frame that eliminates the need for fixation, which is believed to be the root cause of most postoperative complications. Almost a decade after we started our journey, I am proud to say that we created a safer, more reliable solution that was tested in clinical studies and over a thousand of procedures and is now being used daily by gynecologists and urologists in more than 10 countries worldwide with outstanding results.
