My professional relationship with Ira has been one of the most rewarding of my career. She is uniquely committed to her development and has actively sought feedback and mentorship - and, more than most, integrates the resulting insights into her process and her work. Ira is a highly talented coordinator and any project we were involved in together benefitted from her genuine love for connecting people, combined with her ability to organize and keep track of the details. One of the most fun projects we worked on together was a creative approach to leadership development. She also has taken the lead on post-merger integrations. Managing BayWa's integration of Beacon Solar in 2022 was an especially challenging project in which her talents were honed. It has been a pleasure to see Ira step into more leadership roles recently. Her keen interest in organizational development has led her to her current position, where she is moving beyond coordination into "organizational thinking," and is having a broader impact on the direction of the company. She was also chosen for BayWa r.e.'s exclusive "FLEX" leadership program in 2022, which selects fewer than 20 people per year in an organization of over 4,000 team members. She made the most of this opportunity both in terms of learning new skills and building her global network. I worked together with Ira at Rolls-Royce Power Systems AG in 2017 and got to support with her onboarding in our department. I was extremely pleased to discover that she was a quick study and highly adaptive to the new environment. With her friendly and open demeanor she fit right into the team from day one and grew to become a vital part of the distribution department. It was a pleasure working with her. Not only did her organizational skills and Excel affinity help make everyone's day-to-day tasks more efficient, but she also was a favorite for her positive and professional attitude, even when deadlines were tight.
