In a fast growing e-commerce company which is currently active in 8 countries we automate almost all activities by improving and supporting a big e-commerce platform and infrastructure starting from customer frontends to automating procurement and warehouse processes. Being involved in different processes I play several roles to achieve our main goal making customers happy and leaving our competitors behind: As a Product Owner I communicate with business by gathering encountered issues and ideas for improvements maintaining the product backlog. Sketching stories and discussing all possible edge cases I make user stories and tasks for the software development team. After each iteration representing a business value increment made by the team to the business. As a Lead Developer and a part of the software development team I do my best in implementing the most complex tasks and represent architectural ideas to the team, doing code reviewing and being ready to help to everybody. Having System Administrator background I support our infrastructure provisioning it by means of automated tools, making deployments and getting feedback from stakeholders. I'm involved in interviewing and hiring IT-staff and help to solve many management tasks. And finally as a Scrum Master maintaining a sprint backlog and a scrum board I keep all required processes work and make everybody aware of Scrum artifacts. I make burndown charts updated and identify impediments in early stages. This makes us predictable and allow to deliver planned business value increment in time. Show less
