Ionut and I started working over 4 years ago but it feels we have been working for so much more time than that. We have been through a complete transformation as a company and he has the primary merit for it. He pushed everyone to reach their excellence. He transformed our recruiting processes, re-organized the entire team to work after the premium level standards, when it comes to software development. Great team player, ready to help and taking himself the most difficult challenges, Ionut has created the platform for our company to scale up, in a secure environment and high-standards.. I worked with Ionut at Gameloft while being part of the Symbian team which he led. I also collaborated with him and 648 Group doing mobile projects which he managed. I genuinely enjoyed working with him on every project. First of, he is a smart and passionate developer. He has a pragmatic approach which helped the teams in meeting tight deadlines, while keeping a relaxed and well-balanced atmosphere at work. I found him to be resourceful and always willing to share his knowledge and offer excellent suggestions. He was always ready to step in and help out me and the other colleagues. He was responsible, hard working and got things done. With Ionut as a team lead I appreciated the freedom that I had in choosing my way of going things. He has strong communication skills and a very proactive attitude. While sometimes the deadlines were very tight, I didn't see him being stressed or overwhelmed in any way. If someone in the team did something bad or broke something, he explains things with tact and consideration. I find him to be fair, honest and open. He can be a good friend and very professional at the same time. I learned a lot from working with him.
