University Tennis Coordinator
-
Oct 2018 - Apr 2020
As a the university's tennis coordinator a huge part of my role is to plan, promote and host events for members of the university's tennis club, such as university team challenge, tournaments within the club for all abilities, and at times other events less related to tennis. In addition, I promote university tennis to students who aren't members to increase participation, I track attendance, collect and analyse feedback on the clubs performance and student's satisfaction and assist with open days and general inquiries from new or perspective students. Alongside this I also coach sessions for all ages and a wide range of abilities. Some session I coach are strictly for students of the university, but most are sessions put on by Exeter sports center and are accessible to members of the public. I'm currently training to achieve my level 3 coaching qualification and hope to one day work with performance players; with the help of current colleagues I've been able to shadow and be mentored in coaching high levels of tennis.
