  Iele-Sânziene Association is a feminist non-profit organization, which runs educational and sustainable programs for girls and youth in Romania. All of our activity has its basis in the following key values: gender equality, solidarity, education, and sustainability. We carry out projects in three main areas:-menstruation management and reproductive rights (advocacy)-menstrual health and sexuality education (workshops with teenagers)-feminism and gender equity (civic, educational projects for youth).

  After my internship, I joined the team for a full-time position, working as a coordinator of volunteers, trainer and junior PR. I was responsible with:- recruiting and selecting volunteers- internal communication with volunteers, coordinators, and employees- training sessions for volunteers in Bucharest and other counties- organizing charitable events- online communication and social media- creating written and visual content in order to promote the cause and raise funds- recruiting interns- accompanying children at outdoor activities and workshops- developing and implementing workshops for children- mediating conflicts between volunteers, coordinators, and employeesI also worked with a small group of children from foster care:- interactive and creative workshops meant to facilitate talks about emotions- help the children identify and manage their emotions through games and role play
