This time has given me a wonderful possibility to spend more time with our family. It has given me the possibility to meet people from all over the world and it has given me a good understanding of not only Malaysia and its culture, but also other Asian cultures. • User Centred Design Specialist
      • Mar 2005 - Feb 2010

I worked as a User Centred Design Specialist at the R&D department of high end supermarket refrigeration products. I designed the user interaction for several products, with different sizes of displays as well as PC screens. One of the biggest projects was the development of a new generation of supermarket refrigeration products where both the existing European and American product lines should be united to one new product line that would fulfil the user and customer needs worldwide. My role in this project was to clarify the different user groups and their needs as well as spread this knowledge within the organisation. After thorough user studies I made concept designs for the future product portfolio. Part of the work was also to make a design manual to secure a corporate design look for their future products. Used methods: User Observations, Personas, Early Prototyping, Creative Design Workshop with Users, Customers and Development Teams. Show less
