Monitor federal, state and local agency grant awards or cooperative agreements to ensure grant implementation is within the established parameters of the funding agency regulatory and legal requirements. Monitor all grant activities and expenditures based on the approved grant proposals. Review and recommend internal budgets for approval. Coordinate and request budget amendments with the federal agency when needed. Review and approve purchase requisitions according to the grants requirements, government policies and procedures and cost principals.. Oversee and assist in the bid solicitation and bid opening. Review and assist in the review of the daily accounting operations, including the review of cash receipts, disbursements and accruals, and the like, operating within the government’s accounting system; to include review of draw downs performed for the reimbursement of federal grant funds Coordinate and hold quarterly meetings with grant programs to discuss status of implementation, expenditures and assist with program needs.
