It is a full semester course with guest speakers and organized field trips. We cover ethics, the museum environment, art handling, exhibition and storage materials, the cleaning of collections, emergency preparedness, response and recovery as well as the care of contemporary art including "art with a plug". I had several long-term ceramic projects such as working on ancient red and black figure Greek vessels as well as porcelain teapots and Meissen porcelain figurines. In addition, I conserved many large marble and polychrome bas reliefs from the Renaissance. At the BMFA, I used the TMS database system.       AT WACC, I was the Head of Objects Conservation. I worked for a variety of college art museums (about 50) in the consortium. I traveled to conduct conservation treatments on-site a fair amount. I conducted many conservation assessments and object surveys. I organized and presented collection care workshops on a wide variety of three-dimensional materials. I regularly conserved, stabilized and maintained outdoor sculptures composed of a wide array of materials within the collection located at the Empire State Plaza in Albany, New York.
