I participated in the course "English for scientists" in a student group where Inga was a main trainer. The course presentations were clear, useful and well-structured. As a trainer, Inga was very positive and encouraging, so the lessons were both informative and interesting. She also encouraged us to give feedback to homework of other students, and that increased our involvement in the course and gave opportunity for more practice. When I started the course, I had an exact goal to find a new job with the possibility of relocation. I achieved it in 6 months. Also, I participated in Inga’s Club of habits, what was also helpful for setting a working routine after maternity leave.

I came with a request to define my career perspectives and find job opportunities abroad. It was my second time working with Inga. As the result of our previous work I've changed my occupation from recruitment to project/ business process management, started driving, running and made a couple of good new friends. My self-confidence have grown. This time our work wasn't so easy. But I've discovered new ways to try myself in interviewing process and find about the ways to learn more about occupations that could be a target of my career development: moc interview, mentoring. I've discovered the ways to search new job oppotmrtunities and promote myself as an expert in the particular sphere. This time I had lack of emotional resources to turn my new knowledges into actions. But new knowledges and deeper self-understanding is also a result. It's important to be honest with yourself. I like that Inga was always open for questions and ready to support, even between our sessions. Also I liked her feedback from which I've always taken some things to think about and work on. Often it showed me my problem from the other side and that my problem is not so dramatic as I've thought before.

Inga, thank you very much for your help in working out my problem! The initial request was to build an optimal way to find work abroad with a possible subsequent relocation to Canada. You explained how to work in LinkedIn, what a profile should look like, what to emphasize, and what corners to smooth out. We also worked out a CV and a cover letter, adapting it so that changing it at a minimum, you could apply to any company of interest. We built a step-by-step action plan to achieve the goal, then in some places I already decomposed and changed it on my own, depending on the changes taking place. You conveyed the thought that have never occurred to me before that I also need to rest in this race and it is very important to praise yourself for the work done. I try to follow this advice. What we have as a result: despite some sudden deviations from the plan (we can’t plan our whole life in advance and not expect a catch from it, right?), I nevertheless moved forward - I got a job abroad. Now I can prepare document for nomad visa and plan my next steps. The next ones should be simpler and include time for exhalation. What I really liked about working together is that our interaction was based not only on a clear guide to action, but you also provide an opportunity to reflect on plans and weigh potential solutions. We talked about the ins and outs of interviewing, how to apply for vacancies, adjusting the CV and cover letter, and how every step counts, no matter how big. It was certainly a difficult path, on which there was a person who every time said that I was doing well. Thank you very much, we will definitely continue our sessions, the journey is not over yet.
