  Biomixing has developed new agitation systems (patent pending) for bio-fermentation reactors that uses fluid dynamics concepts to reduce damage to cells and optimize mixing in the vessel. Our new agitator/aeration systems reduce mixing times by 75% while reducing shear stress. The components can be used in new systems as well as to retrofit other brands of bioreactors. We got a high client satisfaction when we have retrofitted their golden standard bioreactors and our simulations have proven to fit very well our clients bioreactors and the retrofitted ones. We were awarded the IDEA2 competition at Masachussets Institute of Technology (MIT) and we were also selected by an international networking programme, MassChallenge, Switzerland .
