  Performed facility assessments as a Sub-Amp manager’s supporter using DOD software applications BUILDER, PAVER®, PCASE ® TABLEAU, including Integrated Priority List (IPL) validations, ACES and NexGen. The DOD programs define our assessment is the Facility Condition Index (FCI). The FCI is a quality rating expressed as a comparison between the costs of repairing a facility to like – new condition, versus the cost of fully replacing that facility. Our facilities AFCEC / COAT and COAF team provide sustainment expert recommendations with real – time, integrated data on the condition, functionality, and remaining service life of DOD facilities, service systems, and components. Facility condition assessment process using the DOD SMS tools significantly assists in the development of short and long – range maintenance and repair work – plans and help inform future budgets on where facility investments are most needed. Our COAT and COAF Groups works with other COA Branches, CO Divisions, AFCEC Directorates, AFIMSC, MAJCOMs, and base personnel to incorporate asset management into business practices to provide the infrastructure required to meet Air Force Mission requirements. Sub-Amp managers and Data Stewards resolve issues and provide responses to other Branches, Divisions, Directorates or AFIMSC to lead and support from the update business rules for asset management implementation.
