Work Experience Responsible for providing quality engineering services in the areas of stationary & package , procurement planning, construction support at projects with chemical companies; LG Chemical / Kolon & Kolon Plastic / S-Oil, Hyundai Oilbank, Lotte Chemical, Kuraray, ICIIC etc. 1. Engineering Management • Achieved operational objectives by contributing information to develop strategic plans, proposals and conduct ITB reviews. • Analyzed and maintained all reported project activities emphasizing items such as Scope Variations, Upcoming Tasks and Schedule, and Actual Man Hours vs. Planned Man Hours. • Attended Engineering Coordination Meeting with construction managers, vendors and contractors to review and approve baseline schedules, and attended other scheduled meetings as necessary to stay current on schedules. • Produced various management reports including vendor print index and detailed progress, and quality issues. 2. Procurement Service • Reviewed and prepared purchase requisitions and RFQ for goods and services. • Coordinated procurement activities including engineering review of all requisitions, adding procurement technical and quality requirements, and interfacing between maintenance, QA, and component manufacturers. • Developed specifications, TBE Summary Sheets, Technical confirmation & clarification list to reduce non value added work. • Completed final summary of bid to find out the best possible project procurement cost and technical sources for numerous projects. 3. Construction & Inspection Support • Performed all necessary engineering calculations, specifications of stationary & package products including steam boiler, pump station, flare stack, heat exchangers, drum, tank, reactor, column. • Conducted overall site inspections with local authorities to the completion of construction. • Conducted routine site supervision ensuring quality of work and specifications compliance as well as safety guidelines.
