I had the great fortune of being tutored by Ali whilst studying for my ACCA examination at Kaplan Financial in Birmingham. Ali is a very knowledgeable tutor, with a natural ability to make even the most complex of accounting theories appear simple. Ali ensured that he made sufficient time to answer any additional questions, and often ran additional classes in his lunch break / after class, showing his dedication to our development. Additionally, I spoke with Ali about potentially applying for a career with PwC. Ali made a great amount of time to discuss at length the opportunities on offer with a firm like PwC, the application process, the nature and type of work to expect, and the expected development plan. Ali never rushed through explanations and even conducted a mock interview with me, providing constructive feedback, which assisted in allowing me to refine my answers.
