My son Matthew is Autistic and looking after him is very challenging. He needs 24/7 supervision and lots of stimulation. He needs to be kept occupied every day. One of the things he does is attend a social club run by Inarm. At the club, based in Gillingham Kent, he is able to take part in many activities, including pool, games consoles, watching TV or DVDs surfing the internet and much more. It's a fantastic environment and really helps Matthew socialise. He has made many friends and sometimes, Inarm will organise a trip to airports etc. It's brilliant and I thoroughly recommend Inarm to anyone needing this service.

We have known Inarm for a number of years in his role as care support and day services provider for our son who has a mild disability. Inarm is always professional, polite and courteous. It is clear that the needs of his clients are at the core of his organisation, with his organised trips to airports, air shows, museums and the like, fulfilling the diverse interests of the fortunate enough to be entrusted into his care. We never have any worries or fears when our son is in his care. We would like to personally thank Inarm for the much needed service that he provides.

AutiQuest's aim is to help autistic adults achieve more in their lives. Part of this effort is our project to develop an App to help individuals with autism or Asperger syndrome have more success at gaining employment. Time and time again they struggle to gain jobs that they would do very well in. The same goes for gaining college places. Such individuals have super attention to detail, don't mind repetitive tasks yet can be highly creative and are usually very determined, taking knocks in their stride...after all, anyone who has faces continual struggle becomes resilient. My AutiQuest Interview Tips Autism Focused App is finally out on Google Play for Android! Launching on iPhone in March or April. It's taken me two years with lots of ups and downs during development. With 100,000 words and 100's of tips, it's been designed to help autistic job interviewees have more success in interviews. Contains help with how to confirm the interview; how to handle phone screening; handling typical tricky, open-ended and ambiguous questions; selling oneself; sensory and information overload; speaking and body language; eye contact; autism disclosure and reasonable adjustments plus there is a large section to help interviewers too. Job coaches, careers advisors and HR managers should also benefit from using the App too. There is so little out there to help autistic interviewees with regard to getting over that dreaded job interview hurdle so I hope my App will help. The links to the App as well as a link to a short video we had made, which shows the horror of the job interview for many autistic people, plus a short video showing just some of the App's key features are below. https://apps.apple.com/gb/app/interview-tips-autism-focused/id1575266130 https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.autiquest https://youtu.be/q3KVuakHf_8 https://youtu.be/uIVyXNhSONk Show less

Run a care company supporting adults with moderate learning disabilities including those who additionally are on the autistic spectrum, including those with Asperger syndrome."If you treat an individual as if he were what he ought to be and could be, he will become what he ought to be and could be"....Johann Wolfgang von Goethe.People with learning disabilities are often quite powerless. Despite regulations, day to day decisions are not always handed to them even when they have mental capacity to make these decisions. They have to do a lot of "accepting". I have seen that look on their faces...the look that says "I have no power here, again". So having seen this happening, I decided to approach my work by giving clients power as much as possible. For example, we don't have a weekly programme. Do you or I have a set weekly programme?. No, clients and I discuss what to do like adults who can consider options. Bowling every single Tuesday?...no thanks!. Currently support thirty adults, all male, both in the community and at our Gillingham High Street premises. The day centre supports educational and life-skills development as well as facilitating recreational activities. Person centred planning is a key focus. Have a particular interest in autism and Asperger syndrome and am interested in how clients with these traits can make a full and special contribution to organisations. We are proud to be a Medway Council contracted service provider, providing a service to clients on behalf of Medway Council for several years. "Following the death of our mother, my brother had to move from London to Medway which was a huge change to his routine. He had to leave behind lots of friends, the very people that looked after him and kept him safe. Luckily we found Centa Co and they really helped with his transition. They are extremely reliable and have helped him build valuable friendships. My brother has been with them now for a few years now and is extremely happy. They have occasional trips out and there is always plenty of notice given regarding dates and cost. Any problems are dealt with in a professional manor quickly and efficiently. They really help people with learning difficulties and treat them like the adults they are. I couldn't imagine my brother's future life without them".Shaun D, Medway Show less

"Daniel, our son, who has moderate learning difficulties has been attending Centa Co for the past 6 years. We "found" Inarm as we were setting up Daniel's independent care package. Inarm's dedication and commitment to providing a service that engages him in everyday social life is inspiring. Daniel can choose the activities and outings that he wants to participate in and we often joke that he now has a better social life than we do! As we live an hour away communication and reliability are all important aspects of the service. We have no hesitation in recommending Inarm and his team". A. Clark, Sussex "I highly recommend Centa Co. My autistic adult son has been attending this social centre for 6 years and finds it a really supportive and stable environment to meet and interact with others. Inarm and his team pay close attention to my son's needs and organise a variety of suitable activities such as outdoor walks and indoor games. The activities are well geared towards social training so my son participates in educational group activities. They care about creating a safe and reassuring environment so my son feels comfortable and looks forward to going each time. The facilities are well maintained and access is monitored. They are also very reliable and punctual in picking up my son and care about maintaining good communication with me and my son which is something other day care centres often lack. I'm very happy and grateful for the work and support that Centa Co provides."Mrs C., Rainham"Thanks for the continuing support and help that you give my brother Mark. He has been with you now for many years and has really enjoyed the time that he spends with you. He enjoys a number of activities. From the family side of things we feel that you are always there at the end of the phone if we have any concerns or delicate issues that arise. We all want to say a big thank you and hope that Mark can be a member of Centa Co for many years to come". Mr N. Rose, Strood Show less

"My brother has used the services of Inarm for ten years or more. Inarm has worked so hard to make everyone enjoy the many activities he offers those that use the service he provides. He is very reliable, trustworthy and efficient. I have no hesitation in recommending him to others. You will not be disappointed with the range of activities he provides. Excellent describes everything!". Mrs M. Moon, Rainham"My son Chris is 25 and has autism. He has been attending Centa Co for over four years and always enjoys his time there! Centa Co goes "the extra mile" and treats every client as an individual, giving them the respect that they deserve. Any worries that I have had (as all parents do) have been dealt with, no matter how small. The owners are very experienced with a variety of special needs and, importantly, easy to approach. I would highly recommend Inarm and Centa Co". Mary G. Rainham"My son Matthew is Autistic and looking after him is very challenging. He needs 24/7 supervision and lots of stimulation.
