Komson S.

I worked with Ina for a year in 2009/2010 for the Dutch Red Cross. In which she was chairwomen for some time. Always enjoyed working with her and the way she managed the ILH group was professional in such a way that the group could function as a whole.

I assist the co-ordinator "integration on the labour market" by giving employment training to refugees who are integrating. They are not accustomed to the labour market in the Netherlands and how they for example should write an application letter and a CV.

I assist asylum seekers who have to return to their country of origin because their asylum application has been turned down. Asylum Seekers come to Vluchtelingenwerk with all sorts of questions, from legal to practical and we try to assist were we can. When there are no possibilities left for asylum seekers to obtain a residence permit we try to let them think about the future and help them to prepare and obtain the right documents so they can return to their country of origin.

I helped at different departments of the embassy: political, economic and cultural & press. I worked out the Danish positions regarding EU-meetings, I helped answering questions from the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs about the Danish position towards different subjects and I followed the Danish media and made a weekly overview of the most important news. In addition I assisted when delegations from the Netherlands came to visit Copenhagen, I wrote a background paper and I made minutes during the visits. Show less
