Warda Memon
I had the pleasure of working with Ina from 2019-2020. As my Head of Department, she was not only welcoming at our workplace but also helped me settle in a home away from home. She went beyond her duties and introduced me to a work environment like no other. Her mindfulness towards her students and those who work with her is phenomenal. She brings in a positive energy to the work place with her kindness. During 2020 when remote working had just begun, she made sure to help us in every way possible, proving to be an excellent leader. Working with her has been an amazing experience and I wish her the best for all her future endeavors.

Knowing Ina has drastically changed my perspective of leadership and teamwork. Ina has been extremely welcoming and helpful for a new comer. Ina was the Head of Department for Visual Arts and has excellent leadership skills, not only were she helpful to her own department but to anyone feeling astray. I personally benefited a great deal from her understanding of the IB curriculum while working at KCISEC. Ina has been very open-minded and caring towards her students and her team. Learning and teaching at LBPP LIA have truly created a strong foundation for me as a teacher as the practical workshops, sharing programs, training, practical teaching experience and structured class observation sessions have enriched my knowledge and created the foundation in teaching. Strategies on how to create a fruitful, engaging and fun learning environment were learned and performed- taking into account children's various backgrounds, abilities and behaviors. As LIA's classes are conducted outside of students' school hours, we needed to design lessons that were both fun and effective. During my period of teaching there, I was also in charge of leading a group of fellow teachers in creating visual aids for classes, inline with the topics offered by the curriculum. I also supported the institution by creating promotional designs for various events, and helped to create the Communication Book, as a means of communication between teachers-students-parents. The Communication Book also provided a means to showcase students' works and achievements. Show less
